Keep the useful numbers close.

A small preparation for a moment when searching is difficult.

01

Emergency services

GOV.UK lists 110 for police, 119 for fire and 120 for an ambulance in China. Keep your current address in Chinese and ask someone nearby for help communicating if needed.

02

Your own support contacts

Save the numbers for your insurer, travel provider and your own embassy or consulate. In a serious incident, contact the relevant emergency service and then your insurer or travel provider about the assistance they can offer.

03

Keep it reachable

Our suggestion: store these details in an offline note, with your accommodation address. This guide and its itinerary checker are not emergency-response services.
